18 Months

My big girls are 18 months old today. That means they are "legal" in the nursery now. :-) They are getting so big. They are getting pretty verbal now too. There really isn't anything new going on with them.

2 weeks old

G4 is 2 weeks old today. She seems to be getting so big and fun. Yesterday she got so excited to come to me--she smiled real big and cooed a little. It was so cute. Matt was a little jealous I think. :-) Her umbilical cord stump fell off yesterday morning. She holds her head up so well. Still nursing like a champ. She will not sleep at night if she is not with me though. :-(
Here are a couple of pictures of her from today (the 1st from this morning and the 2nd from this evening):

This video is from this morning--it's G1's new way to go down the stairs.

This video is from this evening. It's just the older 3 playing. G3 is the one with G1.

Train Ride

Last night we had the chance to go for a train ride. The railroad was doing a special employee appreciation thing. We went about an hour one way and then back. It was perfect for my train obsessed children (namely G1). It was pretty fun. It was the first time for Matt and I also. We rode with Grammy, Poppy, Harold and Char (sp?). They (the railroad) provided pop & water and all sorts of snacks and other goodies. They also had clowns on the train. The 3 "big kids" weren't sure what to think of them--G1 told me after we got off the train that he doesn't like clowns; but he did warm up to them. G4 slept practically the whole train ride. G3 loved being under the table that we were sitting at. G2 played with Daddy quite a bit.
We (Poppy, Matt, Gs 1-3, and I) walked from our car all the way to the other end where they had souvenirs at one point. It can be a little challenging to walk on a moving train.
I think this was a great idea--G1 slept in an hour and a half to 2 hours longer than normal. :-)
I have a couple videos I might post another time; but until then here is about a million and a half pictures. (I am only labeling the big girls in the pictures.)
