G2, G3 update

The girls are now in separate beds. This change happened Tuesday night. This is because G2 likes to sit on G3 when she is sleeping. Also G2 has taken to bitting G3.
At first we had them side by side and had the side rails (on the sides that were together) down. Well they kept climbing over; which I wouldn't have minded except G3 ended up with a couple more bites. So now they have the side rails up. The cribs are still side by side but they *hopefully* can't climb back and forth anymore.
I am very sad about this change but I guess it was bound to happen sometime. It's amazing that they were able to share a crib for 17 months (actually just under because they are 17.5 months old and didn't start sharing until they were home at 3 weeks old).
We got this second crib from a nurse at my OB's office.
Marcia has a video(s) of the girls climbing back and forth that she will post later. They are hilarious!

I can't tell you congrats enough!! It is a good thing I had to work Wednesday 'cause it was all I could do to not come up and see her. She is absolutly adorable!! I love those chubby cheeks and all that hair. I think G3 and G2 will be jelous! That is great that she took so easily to nursing, I know Aiden took about 6 weeks before it was comfortable for both of us. Anyway, I am sure you have more important things to do than read my abnormally long posts. Have Marcia let us know when you feel like visitors. We are thinking about you all and wishing you nights full of sleep and a speedy recovery!

It is awesome that the girls were able to share for so long! I wish my two could have, they only lasted 4 or 5 months, sadly...Nuala would start rolling on Bran too much, he did not appreciate it! At least they can still have fun having their beds next to each other.
